These Terms and Conditions govern:
1. your use of the Wildlife Positive Travel website, and
2. any booking made with Wildlife Positive Travel for trips, retreats, or experiences.
By using this website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Wildlife Positive Travel (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates nature-led, small-group travel experiences and retreats. Where relevant, we act as an organiser and/or agent for third-party suppliers, including accommodation providers, guides, and transport services.
2. Website Use
This website is provided for general information and marketing purposes.
You agree that you will:
• Use the site for lawful purposes only
• Not copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission
• Not attempt to interfere with the website’s functionality or security
We reserve the right to update or remove content at any time.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, branding, design, and logos, is owned by Wildlife Positive Travel unless otherwise stated.
You may not use or reproduce any content without prior written consent.
4. Enquiries, Applications & Offers
Submitting an enquiry or application does not guarantee a place on a trip or retreat.
We reserve the right to:
• Accept or decline applications
• Limit group size
• Ensure group suitability and safety
An official booking is only confirmed once:
• A place has been offered, and
• The required deposit has been received.
5. Bookings & Payments
Specific payment terms will be outlined at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise stated:
• A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place
• The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure
• Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation
Payments are typically made by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.
Some trips may include a separate charitable donation, which will be clearly stated and handled separately from the trip cost.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation terms are trip-specific and will be provided prior to booking confirmation.
Unless otherwise stated:
• Deposits are non-refundable
• Later cancellations may incur additional charges
• No refunds are given for unused services, late arrival, early departure, or voluntary withdrawal
If Wildlife Positive Travel cancels a trip, all payments made will be refunded in full. We are not responsible for additional costs incurred (such as flights) unless required by law.
7. Travel, Health & Fitness
Our trips may involve outdoor activities, walking, hiking, wildlife areas, and varying weather conditions.
By booking, you confirm that:
• You are medically and physically fit to participate
• You will disclose relevant medical conditions when requested
• You accept the inherent risks of nature-based travel
Access to medical facilities may be limited in some locations.
8. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.
Your policy must cover, at a minimum:
• medical expenses
• emergency evacuation and repatriation
• trip cancellation or interruption
• activities included in the itinerary
We are not responsible for losses that should be covered by insurance.
9. Third-Party Suppliers
Many services are provided by independent third-party suppliers. Wildlife Positive Travel is not liable for acts, omissions, delays, or failures of these suppliers.
This includes (but is not limited to):
• accommodation providers
• transport operators
• guides and activity leaders
10. Responsibility & Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wildlife Positive Travel is not liable for injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or additional expenses arising from:

• weather or natural events
• accidents or equipment failure
• force majeure events beyond reasonable control
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under UK law.
11. Photography & Media
Photographs or videos may be taken during trips for promotional purposes.
You may opt out by notifying us in writing before departure.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Personal information is used solely for trip administration, safety, and communication.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of booking will apply to your trip.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
